What’s with all the hippos?

What's up with all the Hippos?

Weelll... nothing really. Sorry. I just like 'em 'cuz they are awesome.

No deep mystery or funny story behind it, although I probably should think up some sort of origin story for them. Maybe I was rescued by a pod of hippopotami while on safari with David Livingstone ?
